Tonight there is going to be a partial lunar eclipse, rather fitting that it should fall on the day that was named after it, Monday, even more so because it is going to be a full moon. In the spirit of all things lunar, here's a little bit of insight into the significance of this particular partial eclipse. It has been heralded as the first of two significant spiritual events that are due to happen this month, the second being the Lionsgate portal, the new moon solar eclipse due on 21st August (so called because of position in the astrological sign of Leo) fourteen days away. The partial eclipse is said to be enhance the ever changing flux that is life on this crazy rock we call home.Considered by some to be the spritual equivalent of a “reset”, the influences of the forthcoming eclipses are likely cause a significant change in circumstances, creating an “out with the old, in with the new” type change in our lives. According to the site www.foreverconscious.com, Tanaaz Chubb succintly lays out why this first eclipse is of importance. In fact, think back to what was happening for you around February 2017, as these August Eclipses are closely linked to the themes that were occurring at that time. I intend to embrace this partial lunar eclipse and allow it to help me throw off the holds of whatever has been holding me back, I will look for the signs and messages sent my way and I will wait impatiently for the portentous new moon solar eclipse on the 21st. How will you be spending this full moon eclipse? Dancing naked under the stars?! (A bit nippy if you are in Northern Europe right now!) Snuggled up in a blanket looking into the flickering flames of a camp fire? I'll be performing a lunar eclipse ritual reflecting on the changes that 2017 have already brought me, and sending out my intentions on how I want my life to change for the better. However you spend tonight I wish you love and peace. Blessings
